Engineering and Maintenance

Hull Blacking – covered slipway for hull blacking boats up to 72’long – we pressure wash, wire brush and apply coating as specified. Anodes checked and replaced.  Stern gear checks.

Engine servicing and Sales – All makes serviced.  New engines supplied and fitted.

24 hour call out service.

Steelwork /Overplating/Hull extensions     All steelwork catered for from small welding jobs to over plating of base plate or sides.  Hull extensions.  Come and talk to us.

Refurbishments – All  electrical work undertaken, from fault finding to new installations.   Battery checking and maintenance.  Plumbing – water tanks, callorifiers, central heating, pumps and systems.  Bespoke joinery work from small jobs to full refits.

Boat Safety tests and surveys can be arranged.  We also have a covered wet dock available for hire for DIY projects or painting.

 

Boat Painting and Sign Writing

Here at Devizes Marina we use traditional coach painting methods, creating a high quality, long lasting finish.  Boats are hand painted by our experienced team, in our fully heated workshop. It is up to you  -  be it traditional or contemporary  -  we have the skills and experience to help you achieve your dream design.

To complete the job, we have a professional sign writer, who uses traditional hand brushed methods.  The beautiful hand crafted lettering adds the finishing touch.

If you are thinking of having your boat painted – come and see us to discuss your requirements.  You are welcome to visit our workshop  -  we can show you our grit blasting/mechanical sanding  methods and there is likely to be a boat in the process of being painted for you to see.  We can also show you many completed paint jobs.

Chandlery

Our Chandlery caters for all your boating essentials.  We stock:

Windlasses, mooring pins, ropes etc.

Toilet blue and rinse.

Full range of paints and painting accessories.

Oils, grease and filters.

Bilge pumps, water pumps etc.

Chimneys and stove accessories

BSC requirements   -   fire extinguishers, labels, vents etc.

Maps and magazines
